Pastor Dan Jessop

Dan is an ordained PC(USA) minister who became the Pastor of First Presbyterian in July of 2016. Dan was born and raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He is graduate of Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, and Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. He previously served as the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Donalsonville, Georgia.In his free time, Dan enjoys working out, participating in Scottish Highland games, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Bethany, and dogs, Paisley and Magnolia.

Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministry, The Rev. Bethany Jessop

Bethany joined the First Presbyterian staff in July of 2016 as the Director of Christian Education. She is also a PC(USA) minister.  Bethany is a native Pennsylvanian and a graduate of Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA) and Columbia Theological Seminary.  She previously served at as the Director of Youth & Family Ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge, Georgia and as the Youth Events Coordinator with Flint River Presbytery.  When not hanging out at church, Bethany enjoys reading, crafting, and traveling.  She also loves spending time with her husband, Dan, and their dogs, Paisley & Mags.

 

 

Administrative Assistant and Webmaster, Suzanne Kabisch

Suzanne began work at First Presbyterian in September, 2014.  Before working at the church, she spent many years as an Administrative Assistant in Le Mars, IA and in the Kansas City Metro area. Suzanne is originally from Ohio.

She enjoys reading, cooking, fly-fishing for trout, gardening and is learning to knit.

Choir Director and Organist, Mary Greiner

Mary has worked with the First Presbyterian Church music program since 2000. She is a native of Williamsburg and resides on a farm with her husband, Sid and sons, Stetsen, Sterling and Sawyer.

 

Mary has been a liturgical musician her entire life and enjoys all music. She also teaches piano, is a 4H leader and spends any free time available cheering on her boys in their activities. Besides this, she loves the outdoors, nature, gardening, eating and traveling.
